Treatment programs in our office include rehabilitative therapy. We want to not only resolve a person's current symptoms, but also to strengthen his/her body and prevent against re-injury and the joint degeneration. The different rehabilitation services we perform in our office include:

Exercise Therapy

These therapies include: aerobics, stretching, stabilization and weight resistance. Depending on the injury, the symptoms and the patient's needs, our doctors can tailor the exercises accordingly. Exercise therapy is used to:

  1. Relax tight muscles

  2. Increase joint mobility and stability

  3. Increase bone mass and muscular strength

  4. Improve posture, coordination, and endurance

Massage & Pressure Point Therapy

These therapies can be used for the treatment of many different conditions because they:

  1. Relax tight muscles and remove toxins from tissues

  2. Reduce pain and improve posture

  3. Enhance circulation

  4. Facilitate muscular and joint healing

Microcurrent Therapy

This electrotherapy device sends out healing electronic impulses that produce no physical sensation. This therapy is used to:

  1. Reduce pain

  2. Decrease swelling and edema

  3. Speed the healing of injured tissues

Cervical And Lumbar Distraction

Using special tables, this therapeutic technique is used to gently manipulate subluxated joints. It is extremely effective for treating spinal disk herniations and bulges.

Interferential & Synaptic Therapy

These machines emit electrical impulses that produce a pleasant tingling sensation in the injured area. They are used to:

  1. Reduce pain and edema

  2. Relax tight muscles

Ultrasound creates a feeling of warmth and tingling over the injured area. It is used to:

  1. Improve circulation

  2. Provide heat as a form of massage

  3. Reduce swelling

  4. Decrease pain

Infrared Light Therapy

The purpose of low level infrared light therapy is to direct a cool beam of light through the skin and into injured tissues. It speeds healing and relieves pain.

Heat & Ice

Combining these two therapies, or using them independently for specific injuries has many benefits. Heat therapy can:

  1. Relax muscles

  2. Improve circulation

  3. Reduce chronic inflammation

Ice Therapy Can:

  1. Reduce acute inflammation

  2. Relieve pain

As a natural healing center, we offer holistic services for health enhancement and the treatment of common conditions such as colds, flues, hormone imbalances, minor infections, and many more.

Acupressure / Acupuncture

Acupressure (acupuncture without needles) and acupuncture are therapies based on a vast body of knowledge collected by the Chinese over 5,000 years. It is a system for diagnosing and treating diseases or energy imbalances within the body without laboratory testing or the use of drugs or surgery. This philosophy explains that there are 14 different meridians that run throughout the body. These meridians form a nervous system that affect organs, tissues, and everything that they pass through. These meridians also have mental and emotional components. Excess or deficient energy in these channels can cause illness, pain and mental or emotional imbalance. The acupressure/acupuncture system stresses that correcting meridian imbalance is important in achieving physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Classical acupressure/acupuncture can be used to treat over 2,000 different conditions including quitting smoking, weight loss, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, and nervous system disorders.

There are 3 levels of acupressure/acupuncture treatment:

  1. Pain Control (pressing on certain points to reduce pain)

  2. Formula (using a combination of different points to treat a specific condition)

  3. Classical (finding the imbalance in the meridians through pulse or EMI testing, considered the highest form of acupressure)

Our center provides all levels of acupressure/acupuncture treatments.

Auriculotherapy is a safe non-invasive form of stimulation to the external ear to relieve pain and aid in the correction of mental/emotional, musculoskeletal and organ malfunction. It is an effective treatment that can be used for over 2,ooo conditions. Some include back pain, neck pain, extremity pain (shoulder, hip etc.), arthritis, bursitis, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, respiratory problems, digstive problems, reproductive problems and addiction.

The origin of Auriculotherapy began in China over 2,000 years ago. This therapy was also used in ancient Greece and even throughout the Middle Ages. In 1982, the World Health Organization established the International Standard of Auricular points.

Auricular therapy is based on the principal that the whole body is reflected In the ear. Therefore, ear points can be checked to determine if malfunction or disease is present in a particular body part. In addition, those ear points can be used to treat and aid in the healing of that body part.

In the early 1950's, Dr. Norgier, a French Physician developed a "somatotopic map" of the human body (the inverted fetus) showing how the ear relates to the human body. Through extensive research over 20 years, he showed how treatment of the ear through needle-less electrical stimulation can aid in restoring health to diseased areas of the body. Dr. Nogier died in 1996. Since that time, other organizations such as the Department of Anesthesiology at UCLA and the Electrotherapy Association have done research showing Auriculotherpy to be effective for the treatment of chronic pain, narcotic withdrawal, smoking, weight control and even hearing loss.

At our Clinic we do needle-less Auriculotherapy using a laser device. It is a state of the art medical device that can diagnose body areas needing treatment through auricular diagnosis. The device then administers the appropriate polarity current to create equilibrium in those ear points to facilitate healing and wellness in other body parts.
